Lets start with the way I found easiest and I use is to have a Indian Unicode Input extension

It does not have to be Arial Unicode MS, any open type Unicode Oriya font will do here are some http://ildc.gov.in/Oriya/download/C-DAC/GIST-OT-FONTS-INSTALLER.zip extract it you need not even install it just install this font GIST-OROTMukta and it should show up under Oriya menu in Unicode options

First things first can you see the odiya text in the title of this thread. In case you see nothing or just square outlines you have to make your browser Unicode enabled. Internet Explorer users may try this

If everything goes well you should be able to see the text below

As for the IE fans there is also a way to see unicode text. Click Fonts on IE options genral tab http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/869/fontsoptionsyl1.gif Select Oriya in the Language Script dorp down menu and Arial Unicode MS should show up with odiya fonts http://img516.imageshack.us/img516/2663/...

look up for add-on Indic IME there are other ways too bet this will do I think for time being. Are you an Admin alias? I wish more ppl were here.
