The JEE (Main) exam in place of OJEE, Odisha joined to JEE (Main) system.
Odisha joined the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) system which is introduced for admission to premier technical institutes in the country. Gujarat & Maharashtra also joined.
The candidates who want to take admission in the engineering colleges of own states( like Odisha) will not appear in OJEE, rather they have been asked to fill in the JEE (Main) 2014 application form online. The JEE (Main) exam is conducted by the JEE apex board for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes in the NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded technical institutes. This examination also screens the top 1.5 lakh students for appearing in JEE (Advanced) for admission to the IITs.
(One can get the detail information of examination, syllabus, eligibility etc on the JEE (Main) website by second week of November 2014.)

Re: JEE (Main) in place of OJEE, Odisha joined to JEE (Main
This is a good news for the students, who want to appear in the coming JEE entrance exam. They can apply for many entrance exams at a time( i.e- to study engineering in the state and out state). Why OPECA is opposing to this decision?
