250 MBBS seats'll be cut in private medical colleges, Odisha
250 MBBS seats will be cut in private medical colleges of Odisha due to lack of the required infrastructure. The Medical Council of India (MCI) has decided to stop admission to 100 seats each in Sardar Rajas medical college in Kalahandi and in the Hi-Tech medical college in Rourkela and 50 seats in Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) due to lack of the required infrastructure. (Both Hi-Tech medical college and Rajas medical college had admitted 100 students each last year.)
