How to type in ଓଡ଼ିଆ Tutorial

First things first can you see the odiya text in the title of this thread. In case you see nothing or just square outlines you have to make your browser Unicode enabled. Internet Explorer users may try this

Thanks for your efforts. In the original article now I have mentioned about the font that can solve the problem.

Let's be on this topic. How can we type in Odia. Any specific tool? A friend was asking why not integrate it into OrissaForum so that people can type in Odia.

Will do in couple of hours time. There are various ways of doing it.Each one needs a bit of practice I'll try to address all possible methods. Thanks for the support :adore

Lets start with the way I found easiest and I use is to have a Indian Unicode Input extension

If you use Firefox it can be found here

After the installation of the ad on you can see Default Input written on bottom right of Firefox

When you click on it you get options for various Indian language inputs

As you can see there are two ways to input Oriya text WX and Inscript. For now choose WX or Phonetic that's much easy to type.

I found out a very easy way for typing Odia anywhere. Give me some time to prepare a tutorial for the same.
