None of the above posts display Odia fonts if opened in a freshly installed windows system with internet explorer 8. The problem being the unavailability of the required fonts. There are many methods described in the previous posts to solve this issue.

The best solution is to have the browsers support odia unicode fonts. And it's not yet possible as there are some non-unique unicode possibility for the same letters. until that is fixed, we have to either load the font on users system or load it temporarily when the webpage is loading.
