Hello,I'm Raghab Nath . I am now working in Bihar.I want to buy a plot at BBSR but can't decide to buy from which real estate. Suggest me the name of some good reliable real estate agent. I also want to know the safety tips for buying land/property.

These are some safety tips for buying land/property in Orissa.
1. Go to the site with them
2. See the MAP and Plot
3. Ask for EC of that plot
4. Verify that EC with registry office.
5. If they don't have EC then ask the Khata No and Plot no. Verify through internet 1st in the following website:
http://bhulekh.ori.nic.in/
6. Ask them how long will they take for Sale deed/Registration. Normally it happens in 2/3 working Days
7. Try to avoid installment schemes
8. Pay through Cheque or DD. don't pay cash
9. Ask them receipt
10. Ask them how long will take for possession
11. After u got sale deed go for conversion & mutation
12. Then apply for PATTA. In between get your possession
