Rs 3 lakh compensation for wrong evaluation of answer papers

A student will get Rs 3 lakh compensation for wrong evaluation of answer papers.
Sumant Panigrahi from Basudevpur, Bhadrak had performed well in the Matric examination(2012-13).He had expected at least 90% marks but got only 6 mark in Mathematics paper. Then he and his family got shocked. They applied for rechecking of that paper but the BOSE did respond to his application. After that he put his complaign at High court and then the board rechecked his math answer paper. Now he got 89 marks in that paper.
As the student lost his one academic year with huse mental distress, his parents filed a petition with the court and claimed Rs 5 lacs as compensation. At last the judge asked the BOSE,Odisha to pay Rs 3 lacs to Sumant Panigrahi.
