20 paise hike per unit of electricity for domestic consumers

Twenty(20) paise has been hiked per unit of electricity for domestic consumers.
Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission has hiked power tariff for all consumers for 2015-16. OERC(Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission ) secretary said that the Commission was forced to resort to a tariff hike due to rise in coal prices and the Central Electric Regulatory Commission (CERC) directive to increase tariff.
As per the new tariff announced for the year 2015-16, for domestic consumers,Twenty(20) paise has been hiked per unit of electricity and forty(40) paise per unit has been hiked for agricultural sector.
