The school drop out students now can pass the matriculation exam.
From this year, the BOSE( Board Of Secondary education) has introduced State Institute of Open School (SIOS) for school drop-out students to give them a chance to clear the Matriculation examination. The students who have discontinued their education after seventh class will be eligible to appear in the exam under SIOS system. The examination will be conducted two times a year and an applicant can attempt 10 times maximum in five years to clear the examination. There is no age bar in this system. This year around 3200 students will appear in the examination under this system.
