4 hockey players from Odisha will get 1.25L cash prize each

Four hockey players from Odisha created history by winning country's first ever bronze medal in the junior women hockey World Cup as they pipped England 3-2 penalties. They are Namita Tappo, Anupa Barla, Lilima Minz and Deep Grace Ekka. The CM of Odisha declares 1.25L cash prize each to four Odia Hockey players.

It is a good news for the Hockey team of our state. We are also happy. Why the Hocky team of India as well as of our state are not performing well in the international Hockey competitions? They never play well in the Olympics.
