Today Padmini Rout of Odisha( Defending champion and top seed ) got and retained the Women’s National Premier Chess Championship title despite her final round loss to Tamil Nadu’s K. Priyanka. Padmini got the glittering trophy and Rs.1.75 lakhs due to her efforts.
