Justice Dipak Misra( from Odisha), the senior most judge of the Supreme Court, was today appointed as the next Chief Justice of India. Misra will take over from incumbent JS Khehar, who will retire on 27th August. He is the nephew of former chief justice Sri Ranganath Mishra( from Odisha).
