Elephants on the move, worry for Orissa

More than 50 elephants has arrived in the Nilgiri area of Orissa’s Balasore district.
The elephants are believed to have made the journey from neighbouring West Bengal.
The elephants have trampled crops in the area and damaged some houses.
The Forest Department had a tough time chasing the elephants back into forests because large crowds blocked the routes.

The man-elephant conflict has been worrying forest and wildlife officials in Orissa.

within 50 days elephants killed and injured about 20 people in Dhenkanal, deogarh and keonjhar district.
A mad tusker is now creating very dangerous situation in a village of dhenkanal district.People are not feeling safety even in day time.

“Now we have a major plan for elephant corridors that will drastically reduce the man-elephant conflict,” says Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

Really, this year the WILD ELEPHANTS are destroying very much in ORISSA.
The govt should check it in a planned way.

The ELEPHANTS are now also destroying the crops of farmer in diff disticts of ODISHA.
If the elephants and monkeys destroy all the food in this way,What will be our Future?
If some lawyers can give the appropriate advice to counteract with this problem,it will be of great help.

The Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had said that, their major plan for elephant corridors will drastically reduce the man-elephant conflict.
Again from this month the groups of elephant are destroying the paddy crops in the fields of different districts. The people are getting helpless. Now the govt should take proper steps & should help the people/farmers.
