Now a days, local newspapers are mushrooming allover Orissa. This is a disease from the neighouring Andhra and Tamilnadu states where every politician has his/her own newspaper. Nobody reads those papers too.

I am a regular reader of the samaj.i don't think this news paper publish fake news.I think other news papers are writing too much gossip in their news papers.
I agree with you,that many newspaers (& also too many local magazines)haven't any reader.The publishers arrange their readers (customers) by themselves applying many tricks.
Here in our town,their are certain magazines(nothing in their magazine,some poems,news on local writers meeting etc).They have a taken a picquliar way to sell their magazine.They go to the office of the collector,SP etc & in very polite manner give their magazine to the officers,collect their printed value of the copy which is too much compared to their value.I am writing such a name,that is "BIBHABANA"

In many cases you DO NOT know what the real story is. So you feel the newspaper is writing truth. For example, take any national news and compare from different news websites. You will realize what is truth and what is not.
