The VAT(Value Added Tax) is off on LPG and Kerosene in PDS(Public Distribution System) from the government. The Chief Minister Sri Naveen Patnaik declared this & told that the middle class people had suffered a lot with the hike in the petroleum products by the government. So the government removed VAT on LPG and PDS kerosine.

This statement is quite unbelievable, that the government have sympathy for the middle class people. They do all things to get the vote only. Now the govt. have followed the policy of divide & rule. They 've much sympathy only for the scs & sts.
