The Janani Sishu Surakhya Karyakram”(JSSK) scheme will provide free and cash less health services to pregnant women in normal deliveries or caesarian operations including transportation, diet and medicine and treatment for sick new born (up to 30 days after birth) in designated government health institutions in rural areas.
To avail the JSSK ,Janani Surakhya Yojna(JSY)for cash assistance and Mamta yojana, one can dial the Sanjag help line’s toll free number- 18003456770 or 155335 and ask for medical assistance. Medical authority will arrange free transportation before and after the treatment. They will provide medicine, diet, blood, treatment including caesarian at free of cost.

All these schemes of the Odisha govt. are good plans. I hope all the rural pregnant women & their kids can get better care by this.

Now the women of urban area also can get the services of Mamata yojana. Today the chief minister of odisha has declared about this.
