The famous classical singer Raghunath Panigrahi passes away at 79 years. He is a famous Indian classical singer and music director. He was a noted vocalist of Gita. Lata Sanjukta Panigrahi was her wife. She was a legendary Odishi performer and composer. Raghunath Panigrahi has lifetime contribution towards promoting and popularizing the works of Shri Jayadeva through his classical songs.

It is a very sad news. Odisha lost one of its jewel in the field of Odiya Classical Music. It is the end of an era of the duo Late Padmashree Raghunath Panigrahi and Sanjukta panigrahi.
