Today, the shortest duration lunar eclipse was visible in Odisha. It was the first lunar eclipse of this year 2015. It was started on 3.47 pm and finished at 7.16 pm today, partially visible in Odisha for just five minutes. According to local beliefs, consuming food is banned during the lunar eclipse. Cooking and consumption of food, therefore, is restricted from 3.47 till 7.16 pm.schedule of rituals at major temples.
