Odisha State Truck Owners' Federation is planing for strike
The Odisha State Truck Owners’ Federation (OSTOF) is planing for a state-wide strike from 9th June, if the state government will not fulfil its 11-point charter of demands. The association has strongly protested the action of the transport commissioner, who has ordered to cancell the fitness certificate, road permit and the registration certificate of a truck without any investigation in case of an accident. The association demanded immediate revocation of the order with immediate effect unless more than 1.3 lakh trucks will stop the vital transportation. Again they are demanding to revise transport charges.
