Odisha Crime Branch team arrives at Sarathi Baba ashram
A six-member team of the State Crime Branch has arrived in Barimula-based ashram of (controversial god man) Srimad Sarathi Baba. Crime Branch ADG Bijay Sharma informed that the team headed by an Additional Superintendent of Police arrived in the ashram. Sec 144 camped in Tinimuhani, Barimula as tension rages.
The alleged photos of self-styled godman( Prabhu) Baba Sarathi in the lobby of a Hyderabad-based hotel which claimed that he had spent three days with a woman in the hotel.

Today, the crime branch of the Odisha police started interrogating Sarathi Baba on the charge of cheating and other offences after taking him on a 3-day remand. Let's see, what will happen after interrogation? Now it is common that ,there are no law or rule for powerful people. Supreme court is also getting powerless to punish the powerful persons.

A total of 33 bank accounts of Sarathi have been located with cash deposits of Rs 2.72 crore. Besides, the CB has so far located 50 plots of Sarathi. The Crime branch seized a vehicle of Sarathi from Jagatpur area in Cuttack late on Sunday night. A total of 5 vehicles of Sarathi have been seized till now. A 3-member crimebranch team will visit Hyderabad to probe into Baba’s alleged stay in Golkunda hotel and also examine the cctv footage of the hotel and it’s room booking records to ascertain his visit.
