Private bus strike from 14th March 2018. The Private bus service will be disturbed on 14th March due to Odisha Private Bus Owners’ Association called for State-wide strike from 6 am of 14th March. They are demanding the government to clarify on the route map for JNNURM City Buses. They also want to roll back the hike in motor vehicle tax.

Thank god, this time the bus strike closed after 12 hours. After the state government agreed to form a committee to look into the demand of separate routes for city buses and private buses, the private bus owners called off the strike in the evening.
