Cyclone Titli over Odisha. A depression over Bay of Bengal is likely to grow into a cyclonic storm Titli, during the next 48 hours and trigger heavy rainfall across Odisha from Tuesday. The deep depression formed over Bay of Bengal is likely to turn into a cyclonic storm on 10th October morning, which will slowly travel north-westwards towards north Andhra Pradesh and coastal Odisha. From early morning of 11th October, wind speed will increase to reach 100 kmph in south and coastal Odisha and north Andhra.

A "very severe cyclonic storm" Fani is coming to hit Coastal Odisha, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. It may cause heavy rainfall in coastal, southern &
northern parts of Odisha. In coastal areas, wind speed may touch 170 km/hr. The Navy, the National Disaster Response Force and the Indian Coast Guard are on high alert.
