An odia girl, Linkan Subudhi(an IT professional) was working as a social activist in a New Delhi-based organisation. She was attacked ruthlessly by two persons while going to rescue an 11-years-old girl who was forced by her family members to marry at such a minor age. She is now in a very critical condition with treatment at a hospital in Delhi .

The Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced that the state government will bear all the treatment cost of social activist Linkan Subudhi.

In these type of cases the governments shouldn't be mute spectator. Very strong action is needed against the culprits.
