communal riots

Hello Friends,

I am an oriya, currently working for a german based comany in Switzerland. We have a branch office in Bhubaneswar too. We are all very upset about the communal riots going on there. These riots not only bring loss and damage to population and wealth but also to the development of the state in general. It puts a bad image of the state in front of the foreign investors.

Even the strike also damaged one of our colleagues vehicle.
To bring back peace and stability among the people our whole company is mourning and fasting on Monday , the 1st of September. We as the people can not do much to bring back peace, but pray to god and observe a fasting, by which we believe, will put some effect. As you all know, every drop counts.

So any body else interested in doing so, are very much welcome. We all pray together for the peace in our beautiful state.
We are also open to your views on this.

What happen are really very sad,innocent people are suffering
The issue of poverty should be addressed by Government in interior areas of the state
Nothing can be acheived through Violence.Lets all unite together to bring back peace in the place
The root cause of the problem should be found out and needs to be addressed
