bhaijiuntia festival in orissa

i want to know the exact date on which the festival bhaijiuntia is celebrated. which is the exact date? 3rd October or 4th?
Bhaijiuntia is generally known in the region of western Orissa. It is celebrated in the Mahastami day of the Durga Puja by the Oriya women/girls of Western Orissa and Chhattisgarh. In the other parts of Orissa it is celebrated as Durgastami. It is a total fasting by the oriya ladies for the whole day and night to seek the goddess Durga blessing for the long life of their brothers.
This year Durgastami is going to be celebrated on 4th October 2011.
