This year(in 2015), Sabitri brata is falling on 17th May( Sunday).

Please confirm me this year's Savitri brata date.

This year ( in 2017 ), Savitri brata festival will be observed on 25th May. Hindu women observe this festival by worshiping Savitri as a Devi. In the morning, women take baths, wear new clothes and bangles. They arrange many types of fruits and flowers to offer the Goddess. Wet pulses, rice, mangos, coconut, jackfruits, palm fruits, kendu, bananas and several other fruits are offered as Bhoga (offering) and observe the festival with reading or listening the book "Savitri brata katha".

The sacred odia festival of all odia women, Savitri brata will be observed on 10th June this year( 2021). This'll be my first Sabitri osha. Going to shoping for this puja will be a little difficult for all ladies due to lockdown situation.
