Every district of Odisha has festivities

Though the summers scorching heat is keeping the people indoors, but the evenings in Odisha re now vibrant with festivities being celebrated in all the different places in Odisha. Some district cultural festivals are underway in Odisha and yet no one is bothered to inform about all such actvities of their districts on this forum.

I think we should be able to read and know about various festivals of Odisha here, not only the traditional ones but also the likes of Parab in Koraput. Recently I saw on TV some festivals in Kendrapada where a traditional peetha competition was held. Can any one get a report on that and also if posible some photographs???
