It is located in the Kendrapara District of Orissa. It is a very beautiful place. The children as well as the elders can come here for a better refreshment. The visitors should take entry permit from the Forest Check Gate at Khola and Gupti.

I know Bhitarkanika is famous for crocodiles. What are to see there except the crocodiles ? I don't like crocodiles.

Bhitarkanika National Park is such a destination that attracted to the travelers. Bhitarkanika has highly endangered salt water crocodile and estuarine crocodile. The visitor can see here King Cobra, Water Monitor Lizard and Indian Python. There are many bird species in Bhitarkanika as Egrets along with Black Ibis, also Cormorants and Darters etc.The forest rest houses at Ekakula, Dangmal and Gupti are the modes of Accommodation in Bhitarkanika. The best season to visit the sanctuary is winter between the months of November to February.
