In a significant move, public-carrier ‘Indian’ has decided to launch a regular service connecting Bhubaneswar with Bangalore.
It has also firmed up plans to fly an Airbus 320 between the two cities twice a week. Both the services will be launched on October 29.
The Airbus 320 will fly exclusively between the two cities while the regular flight will be routed via Chennai and Bhubaneswar before reaching Kolkata.
Informed this during the release of a tourism book published by KIIT Deemed University, here on Wednesday, Chairman of the Hotels and Restaurants Association of Orissa J K Mohanty said Orissa can reap immense benefits and expect a quantum jump in business activities in the coming days following the launch of the services.
