From February 2017, five airports of Odisha( Bhubaneswar, Jeypore, Jharsuguda, Rourkela & Utkela ) will be get connected under UDAN scheme. About two hundred regional routes offered by the government will soon get regional flights. The government has received forty five initial proposals from eleven number of bidders to start flights on these routes.
