The road transport had almost stopped to Rourkela from Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Dhenkanal or Angul via the Talcher route. There were bandhs and strikes for better roads and construction had started. What's the current situation, anyone can reply?

I recently heard that road transport has completely stopped in that route. Is this right?

Best solution would be to go by intercity express to talcher and then go to your respective place.

I asked for the bus service to Rourkela from bbsr/ctc/angul etc. and
NOT to Angul from BBSR.

Any help?

You can also go to Rourkela via Sambalpur remember?

ok. I need tickets at Angul or Talcher. That's what the info i needed. So are the Angul buses still running in the Sambalpur route? And what bus tickets for rkl could be available at Angul bus stand?

Better you try in talcher bus stand . As talcher is having two gates and the first one was having the ticket counters. But right now it has shifted to the new bus stand. And if you are willing to have the tickets from angul then there are two buses were running from FCI to Rourkela. As the FCI township has closed it has shifted to Balanda (coaliary field). They pass through the nalco township as well as the angul Bus stand. They have the booking counters at angul as well as the nalco township. So I think you can have them from there.
