Naveen Patnaik, the CM of Odisha announced to appoint 25,000 teachers before Nov 2013.
It has been decided to recruit about 14181 Shiksa sahayaks and an additional 3500 Shiksa sahayaks for Multi lingual education. Total 25000 posts are going be filled in education department of Odisha. 17681 Siksa sahayaks will be recruited.
100 Telugu teachers will be recruited for the Telugu speaking people in the districts of Puri ,Gajapati, Ganjam, Rayagada and Koraput. 50 Bengali teachers will be recruited to take care of Bengali speaking students in the districts of Malkangiri,Balasore and Nabrangpur. Odisha Public service commission will recruit 90 posts of Headmasters (OES II) and block education officers.
4707 numbers of contract teachers will get recruitment for high schools through the District education officers.
