Plus II colleges became a part of school education in Odisha

+2 colleges got separated from +3 colleges in Odisha.The Odisha govt. has separated the Plus II colleges from the Plus III colleges and made it a part of school education. Starting from this academic session( 2016-17), CBSE syllabus will be followed in +2 courses and Board examination would be introduced in the first year of the +2 course. All the +2 colleges will come under the School and Mass Education Department.

It is a good decision. Now the govt wants to increase the numbers of seats in rural and tribal areas Junior Colleges and Secondary Schools for the session 2017-18 only. 10% seat will increase in rural and tribal areas Junior Colleges and Secondary Schools.
