Now 66% attendance of Class IX & X students is mandatory for appearing HSCE in Odisha.

Now according to the order of Odisha Board, 66% attendance of Class IX & X students is mandatory for appearing High School Certificate Exam(HSCE) Matric Exam. Board of Secondary Education makes 66% attendance of Class IX & X students mandatory for appearing in High School Certificate examinations. The Board has asked the DEOs to direct the headmasters to check the attendance of these students after the first period everyday.

It is a good decision of the govt. All the students of classes IX and X should be present in school sincerely. So that they can perform better in their board exams.

It only matters that, the teaching in 9th and 10th class should be sincere. In most schools there is no proper teaching. The 95% of students are depending on private tutors for their doubt clearing.
