well i dunno who wrote this...but m also a student of dis clg...at first i also thought what shit ihav got into...definetly the management is all rubbish...only der 2 tk money n fill pockets...m tryin 2 do a project for 2 yrs and am unable...but i read tat nit guy response..man grow up n let d females in dis world b more independent...stop bein so sissy.....about ragging...well i ask who has posted this blog..hav u ever been to other colleges..hav u witnessed wat dey do in ragging...leave others..wat was nit rourkela..before??????n bro if ur brother left d colg due to ragging ..i tell u he is a loser..coz he ran away from a situation...and he was not d only 1 facing that...each yr 240 students face is...esp for those in hostel...n for the dress code part...first yr...full uniform.......2nd yr...also full uniform...3rd year.....no need to wear colg pant but shirt must.....4th year....u may come in civil dress...dats d rule regarding uniforms.....and about rules....ragging has gone down dramatically....i was slapped by a drunken senior in 2nd yr..believe tat!!!! ...i think u don't..but i do coz iwas..slapped....but buddy life has to move..dey got the answer back also ....3 of our batchmates ....got thrashed and their hands fractured...belive tat..i do i have seen...but life moves on..did dey leave colg.NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...tats wat i m sayin...and u say all this shit....dis year juniors slapped a senior....abused him....and u say dey belong too good culture...respect elders...haan how do i believe??????..when teachers say and complain dat students of first yr are passing comments on dem and complain...how do i believe....ragging is inevitable....a nescessary evil..to infuse fear and respect in minds....BUT TILL A LIMIT....and wat ur brother saw is not the ...LIMIT...

i accpt that may be padmanava is worst college but you cannot neglect a college maned satyasai engineering college that is situated at baleswar......that college is playing with the future of students and lead role is playing BPUT and AICTE......it is quite disgusting 2 say satyasai engineering college a college .....i was a faculty member of both padnamava and satyasai...they dont hav campus underconstructin college is going on........no labs and workshop is going on for last 2 years bcoz they dnt hav machines and instruments.......chairman is politician never, comes 2 college .....he came only when he need money ......and charges fines on students on useless things.......there is no well educated trained faculty members and students were getting copy from outside....chairman collects rs 500 from each student by threatening......practicals marks were send acc 2 how much u can expend on faculty in charge.......they hav nothing there is a hut called canteen......aicte visits and college management hand overs rs 1 or 2 laks and its over......buses-in the year 2008 3 batches were running and 2 buses were available were students travels like a public carrier , everyday 4- 4 students travels by hanging outside the bus.......padmanava hav something.....but satsai engg hav nothing.......there is no tule for increasing tuition fees .......in this college every year fees is increases by 5- 10 thousand..........i cant understand how bput can play with the futures of student like this...........i m quite sure that the standard that students getting frm satyasai is never going to get jobs............there is lots of this i cant describe page wiil be shorter..........if u dont beleive then u can come and see if i m wrong u can send me to life imprisionment.............they hav not given my 6 months pay

ragging bkm very common now a days in every college but in engineering colleges it is little bit higher in all respects. it is the duty of the seniors 2 take care of their junior friend's rather than to rag them by torturing physically or mentally. when seniors will respect juniors then only junior will also respect the seniors bcoz u can't force juniors to respect u & even if u make them bound them to respect u then they will respect u no doubt but that respect will b not heartly respect. the moment u will go away they will start spking against u. in hindi as we know "dusro ko ejjat dogey to tumhey v ejjat milegey". we all r citizen of INDIA & equal against all the laws, fundamental rights r meant for each n every citizen so it's my request 2 all my senior friends 2 stop ragging the junior friends & b friendly with each other so that when ever u will b in need they will help u without any hesitation. never treat anybody choota or bada? everone is equal & unique. u might have definitely heard a story about a LION & a MOUSE in ur childhood so i dont think i have to repeat it again. rag but not in a sense which will hurt others, raaging must b simple to know each other by introduction bcoz freshers r unknown to everyone so it is needed but that dosen't mean that u hurt others. spread love so that u will aslo b loved. stop showing POWER to the minors & b friendly with everyone to create a healthy environment. I was going through this forum.. felt very bad by reading all the things....!! i have been associated with this collage from past 12 yrs... i am from the first batch... i.e.1999- 2003.. although things were very diffrent at that time.. but we as a batch tried to made many changes in the collage and were successful to some extent... .. i am very much glad t say that i am from padmanava collage of engineering coz who so ever i am now is for this collage only!!! It gave me a platform and taught me to handle any tough situation during my struggling days of my carrier.. altough we didnt had much facilities at that time in the collage and we were no much serious for our studies as well, but i really appricatiate Mr. R.V.Bura who always said 1 thing... "if a student have a urge to study and rise then he/she can do it below a street lamp as well".. "u all dont have that urge and thry to blame others and hide ur fault"....
regarding ragging which i read in the comments.. i don't belive it harms if a junior is given a set of rules to follow coz it will teach them to handle the tough situation which they will faxce after collage days!! my dear friends ragging is nothing but a process to teach and nurture to handle some undesirable situation..but yes i do agree that if it harms somebodies setiments and then it will led to mental torchure..!! this should not happen...
Even i will say in Big companies as well ragging is there but we cannot say it as ragging when your manager will try to torture you by passing on his/her work to you and enjoy...!!after working for nearly about 10-12 hrs a day for the whole yr as well your work is not appriciated and some other person who become favorite of your manager gets reward and appraised!! you cant say nything coz at that time we become a professional and not a student..
so my dear friends collage life is the best part of your life which you will miss for your lifetime try to enjoy it and take things as it comes as the real world is waiting for you all after that... No collage can make you big or small if you yourself don't want to become big.... even if you get an addmission in IIT and and after that you dont study then how come you will be passing out....???
