Forest clearance to Posco, arguments on 2nd Sept before NGT
On 2nd Sept 2013, National Green Tribunal (NGT) will hear the arguments regarding forest clearance to Posco. On 12th Aug NGT asked the MoEF to take a decision on revalidation of green clearance for Posco by August 23, the ministry will submit the required documents very soon. The state govt has already completed the 1st phase land acquisition but the delay in starting their project is only due to forest clearance.
