Is it safe travelling to Kolkata from Orissa

Keeping in mind the maoist threat, is it still safe to travel to Kolkata or Howrah, especially on train?

Orissa is the good place for to travel. There are many lake and hill station in orissa. You are in orissa it is very safe and easy to reach kolkata from orissa. There are many buses and other transportation.

Everyday a number of trains and buses are going to Calcutta & coming back.Everything is normal and as usual.Now the Maoists,thieves,anti socials are everywhere.So one should keep aware of them as possible.

It is safe traveling to kolkata from orissa.
