See the recent Geologist Examination 2005 result declared by UPSC. There are at least 19 out of 95 candidates selected are oriyas making it to be 20 percent and out of which at least 10 are in the first 40 students constituting 25 percent. There are two candidates amongst the best fivemaking it to be 40 percent. All India 4th rank goes to one oriya, Mr. Ashit Kumar Swain and the 5th rank goes to Mr. Rashmi Ranjan Mahapatra.
