Strict guidelines of SupremeCourt to be obeyed by vehicles transporting students.
The State transport commissioner( of Odisha govt.) has written to regional transport officers (RTOs) to watch the vehicles transporting school students. As per the guidelines of Supreme Court some rules must to be obeyed by the transport agency. Some of them are horizontal rods must be fitted across the windows. The doors must have proper locks and the speed of vehicle should be under 40 km/hr. The first aid box must present in all vehicles carrying school children and buses must have an attendant.

The vehicles transporting school students should be very careful in their duty. Often we see that they take more students in their vehicle, which creates the situation of overloading. The transport agency or the school authority should consider about it
