Women’s World Cup: Odisha welcomes Pakistan team to play all

Fearing to protests, Pakistani women cricket team's World Cup matches were shifted to Odisha. After the killing of two Indian soldiers at the border, it was uncertain about their participation in the game.
Facing protests from all sides including a ruling BJD MP, the state government on Monday ordered to the Odisha Cricket Association for hosting the ICC Women's World Cup matches involving players from Pakistan at Cuttack.

To organise the international event smoothly at Cuttack," Director General of Police (DGP), Prakash Mishra told reporters that they will ensure proper security for the players.
